Earu Release Of The 2015 Mitsubishi L200 Revealed Some Surpries
The newest version of the Mitsubishi L200 pickup is ready to make its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in spring. The New L200 boasts a more refined and safe experience that the current generation, but will still have all of its renowned toughness. This car will also have an all-new 2.4L diesel engine with a choice of two power outputs. One is 151bph with 280lb ft of torque, and the second is a higher output version with 178bph and 317lb ft of torque. This car also oats the cleanest version so farm, with a reduced CO2 emission of 169g/km. The new engine has been improved through the use of body mountings as well as a revised setup for suspension. Combined, these two features have made significant improvements in passenger comfort as well as reducing the noise and vibration level. To improve the driving experience, slight changes to the steering wheel have also been made.
When you look at it, the new L200 is quite similar to the current models, save for redesigned rear and front ends. Although we have yet to see the interior, Mitsubishi claims that cabin quality space and comfort levels have been improved for the new L200. On the new model, new features have been given such as the full-time four-wheel control, traction control, stability control, lane departure and a hills tart system. The new model also has no less than 7 airbags for improved protection against crashes. Only the diesel engines have been confirmed as of yet, but there are also significant commitments made to plug-in and hybrid technologies by Mitsubishi. As they showed a hybrid pick-up at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, we can expect that this could be made part of the new L200’s future.
